ALLERGEN INFORMATION ALLERIES, INTOLERANCES’ AND SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS

We, Solton Manor and Invicta Food Design take our responsibilities towards Food and Drink Safety and Allergies, very seriously.

By request, Invicta Food Design, can provide a full allergen matrix.  In addition to this they are happy to adapt dishes to suit guest’s requirements, where they can.  Please note that Invicta Food Design are keen ensure special dietary requirements are looked after well.  They proudly offer Inclusive Food Menus, meaning that they potentially use all the 14 Allergens in our kitchens.  The kitchen is not an allergen free area and there is always the potential for cross contamination, even with a thorough cleaning process between preparations. They ask that any guests with special dietary requirements are made aware of this before attending the event. By attending the event your guests accept that despite our control measures they can not guarantee an allergen free meal. Your guests are therefore accepting responsivity and indemnifying Invicta Food Design against any liability.  Invicta Food Design may need to advise you to adapt your menu and if required serve the guests with the special dietary requirements a completely different meal.  If they are only informed of a guest with severe or potentially life threatening food allergy on the day of the event they reserve the right to refuse to serve them food.  This would be an absolute last resort and something they would only do in exception circumstance.  Invicta Food Design will therefore require:

– Full dietary information for these guests

– a labelled table and seating  plan to make sure they are served the correct food.

 

Terms and Conditions

1. Booking Confirmation

A non-refundable deposit of £10 per person, is required to secure your booking.

The booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received and written confirmation issued.

Final numbers and payment must be confirmed no later than 14 days prior to the event

2. Payments

Full payment is required by 14days before event date. Payments can be made via bank transfer/card/invoice. Late payments may result in cancellation of the booking without refund of the deposit

3. Guest Conduct

The client is responsible for the behaviour of your guests. We reserve the right to remove any guests whose behaviour is disruptive or unsafe.

Any damage to the venue or its property will be charged to the client. Please note Solton Manor will provides security guards.

4. Food and Drink

No external food or drink is permitted on site and will be confiscated. Dietary requirements must be confirmed no later than 14 days before the event. Last orders at the bar will be 11:30 pm, with the event finishing at midnight.

5. Entertainment and Decorations

For exclusive hire parties any third-party suppliers (performers) must provide valid insurance and PAT testing certificates and adhere to our music policy. Decorations must be approved in advance. No pins, nails, or adhesives that may damage the venue are permitted.

6 . Event Organiser Accommodation

Accommodation is available free of charge for a minimum of 100 guests. The maximum guest number 200. Accommodation is for a Maximum of 4 people (1 Double and 1 Twin Room). No other visitors can stay other than named guests are permitted in the Dovecote Cottage.

7 . Car Parking

Cars can be left on site overnight at the owners risk and must be collected by 12 noon the following day.

8. Liability

We accept no liability for loss or damage to personal items brought on site. We strongly recommend clients arrange their own event insurance.

9. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing to [email protected]

If you cancel 15 days before the event: your deposit forfeited only.

Less than 14 days your full balance is due. In the unlikely event that we or IFD need to cancel, a full refund will be issued.

10 . Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to events beyond our control e.g. severe weather, utility failure, government restrictions.
