Situated on the grounds of the Solton Manor Estate, Dovecote Cottage is an idyllic country cottage that’s perfectly positioned for exploring the Kent countryside and coast.

Originally designed to house pigeons or doves, today Dovecote Cottage is a contemporary, cosy retreat that’s ideal for short stays and weekend breaks.

Dovecote Cottage is also included in our wedding packages as additional, separate accommodation for guests or as a first night stay for the wedding couple. The wedding couple can also use the cottage for preparations during the day of the wedding.

Perfect for families or couples

Dovecote Cottage is a lovely rural retreat that’s suitable for families, friends or couples who want to enjoy a change of scene.

With an open-plan living area, a modern shower room and two double bedrooms, the cottage can sleep up to four people. It is set adjacent to a beautiful ornamental lily pond and overlooks a wildlife lake and open countryside.

Dovecote Cottage is separate from the manor house but both can be rented together to offer flexible accommodation for large parties or weddings.
