The original manor house is over 1,000 years old, and many of its original Tudor features remain. The magnificent inglenook fireplace and exposed timber beams create the most dramatic backdrop for your wedding day, while the welcoming atmosphere ensures your guests feel instantly at home.
If you’re dreaming of a smaller, more personal wedding ceremony, why not tie the knot in the Manor House’s Great Hall? This licensed ceremony space for up to 50 guests is the perfect choice if you’re looking to exchange your vows in a space that’s as intimate as it is historic. With its original period details, charming central aisle, and elegant chiavari chairs, the Great Hall provides the most stunning setting to step into married life together.
If you’re looking to host a larger ceremony, there are four other spaces on the estate to choose from. You can opt for an outdoor ceremony in Godric’s Garden or Finet’s Woodland, or head indoors to the Old Stables or the Dutch Barn if the weather isn’t on your side.
After exchanging your vows, head over to the converted Dutch Barn reception space and let the celebrations continue.
